摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the high precision prediction method of the finish length of the rolled stock by comparing the finish length predicted value with the actual value and correcting by the learned data of the rolled stock cross section or the rolled stock running path length between the rolling mill rolls. SOLUTION: The length of the rolled stock which remains at the upstream side of the last stage pressure roll when detected by the rolled stock tail edge detector D1 is the converted to the finish length of the downstream side of the last stage pressure roll. This finish length Lf' is obtained from the equation I based on the initial data of the stock cross section Si between the rolling mills stored inside of the predictor 14. Afterwards, the angleθof rotation of the rolling mill roll n of last stage pressure total machine by using the rolled stock tail edge detector Dn from the change of counter value of the roll rotation angle integration counter 13 and also the finish length results value Lf" is obtained from the equation II based on the date of the execution roll diameter information Dw of the last stage pressure total machine. The learning ratio Lf"/Lf'=αis multiplied as the newly learned rolled stock cross-section daum Si and is used for the calculation of the next finish length of the rolled stock.</p>
