PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a bumper member to a side rail without providing a specialized stay, by shaping a part of a side rail extending from a cab-mount bracket to the front end side so as to be bent forward and obliquely downward and by forming an installation seat for the bumper member in one body with the side rail. SOLUTION: A side rail 1 is shaped such that a part extending from a cab- mount bracket 2 to the vehicle front end side is bent forward and obliquely downward and an installation seat 9 for a front under-lamp protector 4 serving as a bumper member is formed in one body with the side rail. The installation seat 9 is formed by fastening a member such as steel plate to a front end of the side rail 1 constituted of a web and flanges, and the front under-lamp protector 4 is attached to the installation seat 9 with fastening parts 8 such as bolts and nuts. By this, a specialized stay, which is to be a separate component, is no more needed, therefore the number of component items being not increased and assembling man-hours being not increased, cost increase can be avoided. |
