<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy the treatment of foreign matter separated from exhaust gas. SOLUTION: This exhaust gas purifier has a foreign mater removing tank 1 for storing water 8, an exhaust gas supply pipe 2 communicating with an engine 7 and also opened into the water 8 in the foreign matter removing tank 1 at an end part 2b thereof and for discharging high temperature gas generated in the engine 7 and discharged to the outside into the water 8 in the foreign matter removing tank 1, an agitator 3 for agitating the exhaust gas discharged into the water 8 in the foreign matter removing tank 1 in the water 8 to dissolve water-soluble components in the exhaust gas in the water 8 and also settle water-insoluble foreign matter 25 in the exhaust gas, a purified gas discharge pipe 4 for discharging purified gas from which the water soluble components and the foreign matter have been separated to outside the foreign matter removing tank 1, and an evaporation tank 5 to which the settled foreign matter 25 is fed from the foreign matter removing tank 1 and in which heat exchange is perfomed between the foreign matter 25 and the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas supply pipe 2 and also from which steam generated by that heat exchange is returned into the foreign matter removing tank 1 through the exhaust gas supply pipe 2.</p> |
