PURPOSE:To enable homogeneous electroless plating without yarn breakage by spraying a plating solution from the bottom of a plating solution tank into a highly elastic fiber bundle continuously running in a straight line and homegeneously permeating the plating solution into the interior of the fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION:A highly elastic fiber bundle 1 such as metallic fiber such as stainless steel, carbon fiber, silicon carbide fiber, aramid fiber and polytitanocarbosilane fiber is run in a straight line consistently from unwinding to winding and a plating solution is dropped from spray liquid openings at the bottom of a plating solution tank 2. The aforementioned fiber bundle 1 is then extended with the dropping force thereof to permeate the plating solution into the interior thereof and homogeneously carry out electroless plating. The above-mentioned sprayed plating solution is recovered with a pan 3 located under the fiber bundle 1, fed into a recovering tank 4, then passed through a pump 5 and filter 6 and returned to the aforementioned plating solution tank 2. |
