<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject recording liquid good in print concentration, light resistance and water resistance, not causing the clogging of fine extrusion nozzles and useful for an ink jet recording method, etc., by using specific casein as a water-soluble binder. SOLUTION: This aqueous recording liquid contains (A) an aqueous medium, (B) a pigment and (C) a water-soluble binder as main components. Therein, the component C comprises casein having a mol.wt. preliminarily controlled with an enzyme, preferably 1,000-80,000, and is used in an amount of 1-200 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component B. The component B is dispersed in an aqueous solution containing the casein. A dryness-preventing agent such as urea and/or a pigment dispersant (an anionic or nonionic polyfunctional polymer alkylolamine salt) are preferably further contained as auxiliary components.</p> |
