FIELD: fire-fighting, in particular, equipment for protecting buildings, such as hotels, offices, industrial enterprises where social meetings take place, from fire. SUBSTANCE: building to be protected from fire may be equipped with automatic fire-extinguishing system operated by energy accumulated from hydraulic high-pressure accumulators and adapted for initial fire suppression. Fire is further suppressed by means of water supplied from fire engine water tank, which is connected with fire extinguishing system through high-pressure pump 3 mounted on fire engine. Pump drive shaft is connected with cardan shaft 6 of engine 1 of fire engine to provide complete employment of engine power. Fire engine may be small-sized. Automatic fire-extinguishing system consuming small amounts of water is preferably employed in the regions with hot climate and limited water sources.
