<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a chlorinated-compound-containing exhaust gas with a high treatment efficiency at a low running cost by using a thermal decomposition exhaust gas treatment device with avoiding generation of Cl2 . SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas treatment method wherein a gas 4 containing a chlorinated-compound is made to undergo oxidation decomposition in a heating oxidation decomposition exhaust gas treatment device 1 before being made to pass through a scrubber 2, H2 gas 13 is added to a gas 4 to be treated which contains the chlorinated-compound, and amount of the H2 gas to be added is 0.3 to 5 times of amount of the gas to be treated.</p> |
