PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin material capable of giving sliding parts hard to emit noise during sliding by limiting the sliding speed dependency of the coefficient of friction in resin-resin frictional movement within a given variance. SOLUTION: This material is such as to be 0.7-1.1 in the ratio of the coefficient of friction (μ1) at a linear velocity of 2 cm/s to that (μ2) at a linear velocity of 30 cm/s in resin-resin frictional movement. In order to attain such frictional characteristics, there is cited a method for obtaining the objective resin material by kneading in a molten sate pref. under high-shear conditions a blend of 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin as the basal resin selected from polyacetal resin and polybutylene terephthalate resin and 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a slidability modifier (e.g. lubricant, sliding-improving resin). This resin material exhibits the aimed effect by using it as at least one party in such applications as to allow two resins to slide relatively to each other. |
