PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise an antibacterial property without adding to the quantity of an inorganic antibacterial agent or an organic antibacterial agent by having an antibacterial layer containing an inorganic antibacterial agent or an organic antibacterial agent and a hydrophilic substance, and a specific thermal contraction rate. SOLUTION: The antibacterial thermal contraction polyester film has an antibacterial layer containing at least one kind of an antibacterial agent selected from groups consisting of an inorganic antibacterial agent and organic antibacterial agent and a hydrophilic substance, and also has a thermal contraction rate of 30% or more. Also, a layer having the largest thickness among layers forming an antibacterial thermal contraction polyester film is to be a layer containing polyester resin employing neopentyl glycol in one of glycol components. Further, the organic antibacterial agent is a polymeric antibacterial agent, and the hydrophilic substance is contained in the antibacterial layer as one of polymeric components of the polymeric antibacterial agent. In this manner, the antibacterial activity can be raised without increasing a rate of the inorganic antibacterial agent or organic antibacterial agent. |
