PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly inflate and deploy an air bag and to reduce manufacturing costs while facilitating the work of folding the same. SOLUTION: A plurality of spacers 47 are arranged inside an air bag 15 expanded in a planar shape. The spacers 47 are inserted radially into the air bag 15 from a center gas inlet 34 toward an outer periphery. The air bag 15 is pressed from the outer periphery toward the center by an accumulating zone 53, and the spacers 47 are moved backward. The upper ground fabric 31 and lower ground fabric 42 of the air bag 15 are spaced apart by the spacers 47 and folded into corrugated shapes without mixing together. |
