<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance rigidity of an intake manifold, by forming a fitting flange by forged material or casting material and providing a fuel injection valve fitting part in this fitting flange, in an air intake manifold composed of a fitting flange and plural branch pipes connected to it. SOLUTION: An intake manifold 8 is structured by providing integrally a fitting flange 10 fitted to a cylinder of an engine, a branch pipe 12-1 to 12-4 which corresponds to each and is connected to the fitting flange, and a surge tank 14. In this case, the fitting flange of a forged part has a pipe connecting part 20-1 to 20-4 to which one end of each branch pipe 12-1 to 12-4 is inserted and adhered. A fuel injection valve fitting part 22-1 to 22-4 is provided connectivity in each pipe connecting part 20-1 to 20-4. On the other hand, a surge tank 14 is made of iron pipe material, and in this surge tank 14, a pipe connecting part 28-1 to 28-4, to which another end of each branch pipe 12-1 to 12-4 is inserted and adhered, are provided.</p> |
