<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable entrance/exit to/from a room and continuous use of a handrail. SOLUTION: In the handrail structure for the opening, a handrail 1 for the opening is used integrally together with a pair of handrails 5a, 5b installed to the side wall 4 of a corridor. The handrail 1 for the opening consists of a cylindrical sectional body 2 and sleeve-shaped gripping sections 3 fitted onto a circumferential surface in the vicinity of end sections, and a pair of the handrails 5a, 5b are mounted through bracket member 6 at mutully opposed places so as to holed the opening 8 formed to the side wall 4. The handrail 1 for the opening is constituted so as to be guided onto the hollow internal surface of the handrail 5a and so as to be able to be horizontally displaced in the direction parallel with the axis of a member of the handrail by fitting the end section 7a formed to the main body 2 into the handrail 5a in a telescopic shape, and another end section 7b is also configured similarly. The handrail 1 for the opening is disposed so as to be horizontally crossed and extended under such a state.</p> |
