PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease defects in shape such as meandering of a partition wall constituting a discharge display cell of a PDP(plasma display panel), to give a uniform and highly accurate fine pitch so as to cancel resolve application defects of phosphors, and to provide a partition wall which can realize high definition and form a large screen, for instance, up to 30 inches or more. SOLUTION: A back surface plate 2 which has a coated layer 11 formed consisting of a composition for molding a partition wall is mounted on a plane of a support 10, and the coated layer 11 is plastically deformed to mold a partition wall molding body 14, especially using a roll-like mold 13 in which a plurality of grooves 12 are cut and formed to have a shape corresponding to the partition wall shape. The partition wall molding body 14, after removing a binder together with the back surface 2 is baked and integrated to form a PDP provided with a partition wall 4 which has a waviness 9 of less than 50 μm at a side surface 8 of the partition wall. |
