<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable plotting of thin lines of high accuracy by comparing pixel data at predetermined positions of line data of a preceding line and a next line, and outputting additional data when the pixel data of the preceding line shows a black area and the pixel data of the next line shows a white area. SOLUTION: An LED exposure control part 7 in an image-forming apparatus has a first memory 25 to which the first line data of a preceding line is input. The line data is read out from the memory 25 and output to an LED array 9. A second line data as a next line data is also input to the first memory 25. The first and second line data are compared in a synchronous state at a comparison circuit 27. When the first line data is a black area and the second line data is a white area at this time, additional data corresponding to the black area is formed and input to a second memory 26, and moreover output to between the line data.</p> |
