PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a block V belt excellent in endurance and transmission efficiency by using a phenolic resin molding material not reducing friction coefficient excessively even by increasing the amount of carbon fibers as a fibrous reinforcing material, capable of imparting physical properties having a high elastic modulus and a high strength. SOLUTION: This resin sliding member b1 sliding and contacting with a pulley B of a block 3 of a block V belt is formed by using a phenolic resin molding material obtained by adding 25-120 pt.wt. carbon short fibers having a crystal structure as an onion structure and 3-60 pt.wt. tetrapod type zinc oxide whiskers consisting of needle-state single crystals having a three dimensionally extending shape based on 100 pts.wt. phenolic resin. |
