PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely prepare with a good productivity a polyurethane foam wherein fine, uniform-sized cells are uniformly distributed and the surface of which has no chalk mark or irregular mark caused by a cell collapse or cell-size irregularity and which has not only a good appearance but also a high flexibility, good mechanical properties and a high wear resistance, and a laminate having a layer comprising this foam, without using any fluorocarbon or organic solvent which is an environmental or safety issue. SOLUTION: A foam or a foam layer-containing laminate is prepared through melt extrusion expansion molding using 100 pts.wt. composition comprising (I) a thermoplastic polyurethane and (II) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer wherein the weight ratio of component (I) to (II) is from 40/60 to 95/5 and (III) an expandable polyurethane composition containing from 1 to 30 pts.wt. (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester polymer having a number average molecular weight of 100,000 or larger and a heat-decomposable blowing agent. |
