PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the portable telephone set by which the service equal to that of an extension speech via a master set is realized even in the extension speech utilizing the transceiver mode. SOLUTION: A control section 20 requests extension speech to a master set via a TDMA processing section 13, a MODEM 12, an RF IF section 11c and controls inter-slave-set direct speech with an opposite party requesting the extension speech in the transceiver mode in the case that an instruction from a home mode to the transceiver mode via the RF IF section 11a, the MODEM 12 and the TDMA processing section 13 and conducts standby processing to monitor a control channel of the master set in the transceiver mode. In other words, the inter-slave-set direct speech is conducted in the transceiver mode when no idle communication channel is available and the standby processing is executed. |
