摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the entire equipment and make effective transmission of driving force available by forming magnetic poles which attract or repulse magnetic poles induced on the surface of a conductive member which can move in a specified direction by changing a magnetic field which changes in correspondence with the conducting state of an electromagnet. SOLUTION: In correspondence with the rate of change of current applied to a coil 22 of an electromagnet 20, induced current appears on the surface of a conductive member 30 located face to face with the electromagnet 20 and thereby a magnetic field with opposite polarity to that of the electromagnet 20 is caused in the conductive member 30. The magnetic field caused by the electromagnet 20 has different strength but has the same direction over the entire cycle, however, the duration of current and the rate of change of the magnetic field differ at the time of rise and at the time of fall. Part of the conductive member 30 where the magnetic field is induced attracts a magnetic pole of a permanent magnet 11 and repulses that of a permanent magnet 12 and therefore the conductive member 30 moves to the left as shown by the arrow during the rise. By this method, the number of components can be reduced without making the size of each constituent element too small and obtain easy assembling and high reliability.
