12 A method of providing prepaid time-related access from a remote computer terminal, which is linked to the Internet through an access server of an Interne t Service Provider, provides such access only when an outstanding balance of time remains in the prepaid account of an authorized customer. The method may further provide for on -line replenishing of the prepaid account, using a transaction form which is accessed by the customer. The method may be implemented using so-called RADIUS protocols.
