PURPOSE:To invariably inform a driver of what state a vehicle is in during a travel via display and/or sound based on the difference between the target value and the actual value (detected value or estimated value) on the yaw rate. CONSTITUTION:A controller 40 calculates the target yaw rate and the yaw rate difference value between the target yaw rate and the actual yaw rate detected by a yaw rate sensor 26. The target yaw rate is calculated based on at least the steering angle and the vehicle speed signal. When the display method is used to inform a driver of the vehicle state, a yaw rate difference value indicator 27 is provided on a vehicle. The yaw rate difference value obtained by calculation during a travel is displayed on the indicator 27. The travel state of the vehicle is informed to the driver via this display. The driver can understand in what state the vehicle is, and it serves to perform safe driving. |
