PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition giving a cured product having high electrical insulation reliability by including a phenolic resin, an amino resin, a compound containing plural crosslinking groups in the molecule and a halomethyl-1,3,5-triazine compound. SOLUTION: The objective composition contains (A) a phenolic resin (e.g. novolak resin), (B) an amino resin (e.g. a hexamethoxymethylated melamine), (C) a compound containing plural crosslinking groups in one molecule (e.g. an epoxy compound) and (D) a halomethyl-1,3,5-triazine compound [e.g. 2,4-bis(trichloromethyl)-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine]. The amounts of the components A, C and D are preferably 30-75 wt.%, 8-60 wt.% and 0.05-3 wt.% based on the sum of the components A to C, respectively, and the amount of the component B is preferably 10-60 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A. |
