<p>The present invention relates to a flame heating method for the radiation and convection heating of heat-exchange surfaces in a plant. The purpose of this invention is to increase the operation efficiency of the heat-exchange surfaces, to increase the operation duration of thermal devices between maintenance operations and to provide an improved operation safety. To this end, a fuel and an oxidant are fed into a radiation chamber in such a way that the oxidant, having an oxygen content exceeding 3 vol. %, is fed separately into the radiation zone. The fuel is dosed on the basis of the oxidant progression mode and according to the required temperature profile of the heat-exchange surfaces so as to generate simultaneously convection and radiation heating conditions.</p> |
