PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming external electrode of electronic parts which can insert chip parts into parts holding holes provided on a belt. SOLUTION: After the image of the lower surface of an elastic body 2 stopped at a parts inserting position is picked up with a camera, the parts holding holes 2b which appear in the visual field F of the camera are detected and the center line CL passing through the centers of the arranged holes 2b is found. When a difference D1 in the minus direction is detected between the center line CL and a reference line SL, the correction signal corresponding to the difference D1 is generated and positional correction is performed by moving a belt 1 in the plus direction or rotating a drum in the minus direction by the difference D1. Since the parts holding holes of the elastic body are accurately faced to the insertion guide holds of the drum through this positional correction, anticipated parts insertion can be performed without hindrance thereafter when the pin of a parts inserting machine is moved. |
