摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate at high time resolution the power of a frequency component involved in heartbeat fluctuation which takes the form of a non-stationary signal. SOLUTION: A heartbeat interval calculating part 102 obtains heartbeat interval time-series data which are at unequal time intervals, by calculating heartbeat intervals from biomedical signals measured with a biomedical signal measuring part 101. An equal-interval data originating part 103 originates heartbeat interval time-series data which are at equal time intervals, by interpolating and resampling heartbeat interval time-series data which are at unequal time intervals. A discrete binary wavelet converting pat 104 splits the heartbeat interval time-series data which are at equal time intervals into wavelet factors for a plurality of frequency bands through discrete binary wavelet conversion. For each area of minimum time resolution corresponding to each of the frequency bands, each power calculating part 105a-105f calculates half the square of the maximum value of the absolute value of the wavelet factor as the power of that area. The fluctuation with time of the power of the frequency component involved in heartbeat fluctuation is thus calculated.
