<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of an operator and assist him to improve quality by always monitoring a material specification, a rolling specification, a product specification by each layer so as to assume the cause of quality deterioration from a warning signal dispatched when a quality result is suddenly changed or exceeds a preset quality limit, and an output of graph indicating with the passage of time when it changes slowly. SOLUTION: A steel plate 1 is rolled by a roll 4 of a rolling mill 2 and rolled up by a takeup roll 3. Data on a main control device 6 to control a driving motor 7, a plate thickness control device 10 to control a pressure reduction device 8, and a plate shape control device 11 to control a shape control driving device 9 are stored in a quality data base 20. Data on a load cell 12, a plate speed meter 13, a tension meter 14, a plate thickness meter 15 being a quality measuring equipment, and a plate shape meter 16 which are used for the main control are stored in a quality data base 20. A quality monitoring is carried out for each management division based on the data of the quality data base 20 periodically or when requested by the operator.</p> |
