<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sepn. performance and to reduce the volume of the liquid to be handled by simple operation while same chemicals are used by dividely carrying out the supply of a soln. contg. a high concn. of an adsorptive material and a non- adsorptive material and, in succession, continuously carrying out the operation to supply the desorption liquid of the adsorptive material. SOLUTION: The soln. contg. the adsorptive material B and the non-adsorptive material A is put into a sample soln. storage tank 4. The sample soln. is divided by specifying the total volume of B in the sample soln., defined as (m), the max. adsorption quantity of B in an ion exchange column, defines as M and the number of divisions (n) of the sample soln., defined as a number satisfying n>=m/M and is automatically supplied alternately with the desorption liquid to an ion exchange column 1. The liquid contg. A and the liquid contg. B alternately discharged from the column 1 are automatically separated to the sample soln. and the desorption liquid by a soln. changeover device controller 9 after the discharge of the set supply rate is checked with a flow meter 8. The non-adsorptive material A in the sample soln. is recovered into a storage tank 6 and the adsorptive material B into a storage tank 7. The reduction in the volume of the desorption liquid to be used and the volume of the washing liquid and the reduction of the size and cost of peripheral devices are made possible.</p> |
