<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water metallic ink composition which gives bright colored metallic handwriting and less change of viscosity with time. SOLUTION: A water metallic ink composition is obtained by mixing an ink composition containing at least a metal pigment such as an aluminum pigment, etc., a natural polysaccharide such as xanthan gum, etc., a coloring agent and a water-soluble organic solvent with a water-soluble soybean polysaccharide or a derivative thereof as a binder. The natural polysaccharide includes various microorganism-producing polysaccharides or derivatives thereof, water-soluble plant polysaccharides or derivatives thereof and water-soluble animal polysaccharides or derivatives thereof. 0.01-4.00 wt.% of a natural polysaccharide and 0.50-20.0 wt.% of a water-soluble soybean polysaccharide or a derivative thereof are contained wherein wt.% is determined based on the total weight of the ink composition.</p> |
