PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treatment apparatus capable of easily performing the maintenance such as cleaning or the like of an air diffusion means without taking out a membrane material from an aeration tank. SOLUTION: In an aeration tank 3 performing aerobic treatment when sewage is purified, the air diffusing means for diffusing air from the lower part of the solid removing membrane material 5 provided to the internal upper part of the aeration tank 3 is formed so as to have an air diffusing pipe 41 freely bendable at least at its leading end part and the guide member 42 positioning and guiding the leading end of the air diffusion pipe so as to position the same from the upper part in the aeration tank 3 to the lower part of the membrane material 5.
