<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, in which a structural effect on an existing building is reduced, and the foundation works of the existing building are made unnecessary when a mechanical elevating facility is extended to a stairhall type multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: In the extending method of the elevating facility for dwelling unit access for varying a main dwelling-unit access method into a mechanical elevating facility from stairs while using a stairhall type multiple dwelling house sharing one stairhall by two dwelling units on each floor as an object, at least one or more of mechanical elevating facilities for dwelling unit access are constructed at the adjacent place of the stairhall type multiple dwelling house apart from the multiple dwelling house. In the stairhall type multiple dwelling house, the stairs 2 and stair landings 12 are removed while floor slabs 6 supported to existing stairhall floor slabs 10 and building-frame side walls while being continued to the existing stairhall floor slabs 10 are extended, and external corridors 5 connected to the mechanical elevating facilities for dwelling unit access are installed from the extended floor slabs 6.</p> |
