The torque damper consists of coaxial rings (4, 5) interacting via springs (70, 71) in a phase ring (8). One ring is in the form of a plate with radial arms (60) cooperating with the springs, and there are play take-up adjusters (9) between the radial arms and the phase ring, and a third set of springs (7) between the phase and guide rings (4,5).
