SUBSTANCE: method comprises single-step secondary condensation of polycondensates, in particular, polyamide 6.6 granulate, in vortex layer using nitrogen as carrier gas. Partial carrier gas with temperature of 20-230 C is withdrawn from main stream and directed through water filled gas purification column so that partial stream of condensed carrier gas with dew point of 10-80 C (100% relative moisture content) is recycled to main carrier gas. Partial carrier gas stream is discontinued in granulate cooling phase. After cooling, granulate is discharged and is used further. Desired viscosity is attained and moisture content of polymer is precisely determined. EFFECT: more efficient secondary condensation of polycondensates. 3 cl, 2 ex, 1 tbl
