<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and exactly execute positioning of a metal plate work on a table of a metal plate working machine by a plate carrying-in device regardless of a carrying-in shape whether in the longitudinal direction or in the width direction. SOLUTION: This metal plate carrying-in device addigns rectangular plate work W on a positioning means 40 and carries-in the work onto the table. The positioning means 40 consists of a first direction (X direction) positioning parts 16A, 16B to assign each of a long side and a short side of the plate work W and a second direction (Y direction) positioning part 14. The plate carrying-in device is equipped with a discriminating means 33 to discriminate the carrying-in shape of the plate work W. Further, an assignment control means 34 is provided to control so as to assign the long side of the plate work W with priority to the positioning means 40 according to the discriminated carrying-in shape.</p> |
