PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a shoe by a simple means in a high precision and to inexpensively forge a high performance shoe. SOLUTION: When forging a shoe so that an outer peripheral face having a spherical radius smaller than a spherical radius of an apex face is extended from the apex face and an apex face through the outer peripheral face is smoothly continued with a spherical radius smaller than a spherical radius of the outer peripheral face, the method consists of a first process that a columnar or spherical stock 8, 9 having the same volume as the shoe is forged to a preform 10, in which a apex face has a spherical radius of the shoe apex face and a height is lower than the shoe, by pressing.compressing with a first die having a recessed part formed with a spherical face radius slightly larger than a spherical face radius of an apex face of a shoe and a second process that a preform 10 is forged to a formed part 16 having the spherical radius of the outer peripheral face of the shoe by pressing.compressing with a second die having a recessed part formed with a spherical face radius slightly smaller than a spherical face radius of the outer peripheral face of the shoe.
