<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant easily available, comparatively inexpensive, and excellent in deodorizing effect by preparing a deodorant effective for deodorizing ammonia, amine, hydrogen sulfide, and mercaptan from a matter which contains annyris oil as the effective component. SOLUTION: This deodorant preferably used for deodorizing odor from a toilet, a kitchen, a pet, a cigarette in smoking, etc, and ammonia, amine, hydrogen sulfide, and mercaptn is prepared from a matter blended with amylis oil as the effective component. The amylis oil to be used can be obtained by steam distillation of chips or a saw dust like raw material from Amyeeis bakamifera, orange family, growing in South America or others and separation of moisture form the distillate. The content of the amyris oil is set to 0.05-50 wt.% against the whole quantity of the deodorant, preferably within a range 0.1-10 wt.%.</p> |
