The machine comprises a carrier chassis (2), a reception box (3) and a rear loading shovel (16) pivoted on the end of a pivoting arm (20). Each arm is telescopic with an extendable front part (21) having a coupling point (15) to the arm pivoting jack (12). The other coupling point (13) of the jack is a chassis point which is perpendicular to the front part. An arrangement (30) is provided to lock the rear part (22) relative to the front part in a withdrawn position and an extension position of the arm.
