PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector capable of providing electrical connection of high reliability between wires and a circuit board, and electrical terminals used for it. SOLUTION: Electrical terminals 20a, 20b couple wire connection portions 21a, 21b and an elastic contact structure containing contact portions making contact with a circuit board by base portions 22a, 22b. The base portions 22a, 22b extend in a nearly orthogonal direction from the overlapping portion of the bottom portion of the wire connection portion 21a, 21b, and one part of the overlapping portion abuts on a shoulder. The shoulder supports the wire connection portions 21a, 21b at the time of pressure connection. One part of the elastic contact structure is protected by an end wall 56, and deformation due to the interference by an external member is prevented. |
