PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an IEEE 1294 interface to make appropriate concatenate packet communication in accordance with transmission speeds before and after an alteration. SOLUTION: An IEEE 1394 interface is provided with an input means 11 which transmits first data at a first communication rate and, thereafter, inputs a signal which instructs to transmit second data at a second communication rate, packet form deciding means 12, 13, and 14 which decide the packet form as one packet by connecting the data to each other or as different packets by separating the first and second data from each other, and a transmitting means 15 which transmits the first and second data in the packet form decided by means of the deciding means 12, 13, and 14. |
