PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer video data by adequately utilizing a transmission band of a network to properly adjust the transmission speed of the video data. SOLUTION: A transmitter terminal 1-1 as a video transmission source divides image data obtained by photographing and sends them to a receiver side terminal 1-2, via a network 1-3 as packets with respective sequence numbers. The receiver side terminal 1-2, for example, sends a reception report including the sequence number of a newest received packet and a reception rate to the transmitter side terminal 1-1 each 3 sec. Upon receiving the report, the transmitter side terminal 1-1 calculates data so that it becomes a maximum object value at the end of a frame, when the data sent at present are at midway of one frame and determines the time when a next frame is to be transferred. |
