PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dry toner particles having high mechanical strength, excellent fluidity at high temp. and excellent hot offset property. SOLUTION: These dry toner particles have a resin matrix containing a mixture of a polymer (PLC) described below and a nonlinear polymer having the softening point Ts B satisfying 110<=Ts B<=135 deg.C. The polymer (LPC) has a low softening point and W and is modified with a modifier (D) selected from polysiloxanes and long-chain aliphatic compds. having 20 to 250 carbon atoms and reactive end groups, with the molar ratio of the polymer to the modifier LPC/D ranging 0.8 to 1.25. The toner particles contain a wax selected from waxes having a melting point near the softening point of the branched polymer B.
