摘要 The invention relates to the metallurgical engineering industry, and to a method for producing a flux-cored wire with an increased powdered-filler density. The problem addressed by the invention is that of increasing the quality of the flux-cored wire by increasing the density of the filler thereof, the uniformity of distribution of said filler in the transverse and longitudinal directions, and of increasing the operational characteristics of the wire produced. The problem is solved in that, in the method for producing the flux-cored wire with an increased powdered-filler density, comprising continuous forming a U-shaped profile from a metal strip, with simultaneous filling said profile with a powdered filler, with the latter being smoothed out and the profile being preliminarily sealed, forming a closed tubular casing profile with a grooved lock and reducing said profile, according to the invention the preliminary sealing and smoothing out are carried out on a vibrating device, and the reduction is undertaken in a double three-roller die, wherein, in the first group of rollers, three deep corrugations are formed, said corrugations reducing the cross section of the profile to 20%, wherein one of the corrugations is arranged close to the grooved lock, and, in the second group of rollers, which are shifted by 60° along the forming axis relative to the first rollers, the profile is calibrated with simultaneous compression of the three corrugations formed and with the possibility of reducing the cross section of the profile to 25%.
