<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new mefenacet compound capable of largely simplifying the mefenacet analysis and shortening the measuring time, and quickly, readily and economically measuring various samples. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I (n) is 1-9}, e.g. N-(benzothiazolyl oxymethyl)-N-phenylcarbamoyl butyrate. The compound of the formula I is obtained by, e.g. reacting 2-halogenobenzothiazole of formula II (X is a halogen) with anα-hydroxyacetoanilide compound of formula III (R is a carboxyl protecting group) in an inert solvent such as N,N- dimethylformamide in the presence of a base such as 2-halogenobenzothiazole at room temperature.</p> |
