Method for utilising the centrifugal force in processes where supercritical fluids are used, in that the material to be treated is rotated and fluid is introduced via the axle. Owing to the centrifugal force, extractable matters are effectively removed, and at the same time fluid is entering the material as the fluid is flowing radially therein. The method is usable e.g. in cleaning of porous items or, in an inverse process, in colouring. A device for working the method is also disclosed, comprising a pressure vessel and an inner rotatable axle comprising introducing channels for fluid. <IMAGE>
