PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station monitoring device which is able to monitor the operating state of each functional component of a base station, without relying upon the hardware configuration. SOLUTION: In a base station monitoring device 30, the operating states of a plurality of cards 311 , 312 ,..., 31N which are mounted at each functional component to realize each function of a radio base state, such as call processing, traffic and call control, system data transfer, a central control section 32 which controls the cards 311 -31N, and a device monitoring section 33 are read out at every functional card via a monitoring port 38, based on port address information prestored on an IC card 34. Then the read-out operating states are compared with the operating state stored on a device monitoring table which is prepared in a GM 36, and when they do not agree, the change of the operating states is notified. |
