SOLUTION: This power consumption monitor device has a power consumption detection and transmission part 12 connected between the circuit breaker 24 and a power load 26, detects the value of the current flowing to the circuit breaker 24 or the value of the electric power that the power load 26 consumes, and sends power consumption information corresponding thereto. A reception notification part 14 receives the power consumption information from the power consumption detection and transmission part 12 and sounds when the current flowing to the circuit breaker 24 or the electric power that the power load consumes exceeds the specific value to give the notice that the circuit breaker is to operate.
