PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent color reproducibility by forming a pixel electrode group by arranging a red corresponding pixel electrode, a green corresponding pixel electrode, and a blue corresponding pixel electrode repeatedly on a plane. SOLUTION: A hologram color filter 10 is constituted by laminating respective hologram color filter layers 10r, 10g, and 10b for R, G, and B in order from the top. Further, pixel electrodes 20 are an respectively repetitive array of pixel electrodes 20b, 20r, and 20b corresponding to B, R, and G from the left. Here, incident light (white light) is made incident obliquely from a right upper part, the diffraction angle of main diffracted light is designed to 0 deg., and the light is converged almost vertically on a pixel electrode for a corresponding color. Consequently, the respective pixel electrodes can lee irradiated with diffracted lights of nearly the same wavelength ranges with the corresponding colors irrelevantly to the presence of wavelength dispersion of diffracted light. Therefore, color mixture is hardly caused on pixel electrodes and excellent color reproduction is enabled. |
