<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator adding method by which insulators are added to a tension insulator assembly with substantially improve workability and clamp moving. SOLUTION: In order to add insulators by pulling a wire 10 toward an insulator side with a vice 12 and loosening an insulator assembly 14, a wire rope retaining member 17 provided on the insulator assembly 14 side, and the vice 12 are connected to each other with practically two wire ropes 18 and 20 which hold at least a part of the insulator assembly, and a distance between the wire ropes 18 and 20 is made not less than the width of the insulator assembly 14 over its entire length. Furthermore, retaining member 17 of the wire ropes 18 and 20 is provided in a part of the insulator assembly 14.</p> |
