<p>Household washing machine having an outer casing (10) provided with a front control panel (30) and a washload loading and unloading door (50) therebelow, preferably in the form of a circular porthole. The suspended washing assembly (70) of the machine comprises a tub (71) and a drum (72) rotating about an axis (X) which is inclined with respect to the horizontal, said machine being preferably of the type provided with a known system for recirculating the washing and rinsing water. A bellows-like gasket (75) is used to connect mutually associated apertures in the front side of the casing (10), the tub (71) and the drum (72) with each other. The diameter (Ro) of the aperture of the drum (72) in front of the bellows (75) is equal to at least two thirds of the diameter (RB) of the envelope, i.e. the side cylindrical mantle of the same drum (72), preferably (Ro)≃0.70(RB).</p> |
