PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make early exchangeable burnt out light sources, to eliminate the time when the function of a photocatalyst stops and to maintain a catalytic reaction by providing a photocatalyst reaction apparatus equipped with the light sources and photocatalyst units with a plurality of the light sources for one photocatalyst unit. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst unit 2 and two pieces of 6-watt UV lamps 3 as the light sources and fan 4 are mounted within a casing 1 forming the apparatus body. The casing 1 is opened with a suction port 1a and a blow-off port 1b respectively on both flanks. Stabilizers 5, glow lamps 6, a neon lamp 7 as a pilot lamp and a switch 8 are disposed. The photocatalyst unit 2 is constituted by inserting the UV lamps 3 into glass cloth 2a formed by depositing the photocatalysts thereon and laminating many sheets thereof. When the UV lamps 3 are blown out, the neon lamp 7 connected in parallel therewith is lighted to display the non-lighting of the UV lamps 3 and to indicate the exchange of the light sources. |
