PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a disabled state of new transmission reception because of deficiency of an idle capacity of a memory to store an image. SOLUTION: A memory capacity monitor section 13 monitors whether or not an idle capacity of a RAM 3 is a prescribed threshold capacity or below. When the memory capacity monitor section 13 discriminates that the idle capacity of the RAM 3 is more than the prescribed threshold capacity, a CPU 1 selectively sets an S or a B mode depending on a destination for its transmission mode. However, when the memory capacity monitor section 13 discriminates that the idle capacity of the RAM 3 is less than the prescribed threshold capacity, the CPU 1 sets the transmission mode to be the S mode independently of the destination. In this case, a mode by which an image is sent in a one-sidedly sent method is called S mode, and a method by which imaged transmission is done by negotiation and the transmittal is confirmed is called B mode. |
