A harness for rescuing trapped or injured patients This harness is octagonal shaped with an elongated top and base a lifting ring is attached to the top and the base splits into a y shaped beaver tail. All webbing is sewn into a garment, this holds unit into a single easily applied rescue system to be attached to a rescue line. The rescue sling secures to patient using four quick connect adjustable buckles, a Velcro chest strap and a traveling head harness. It has a removable backboard designed for upper body immobilization. This invention provides, superior upper body stabilization and control it is primarily designed for confined space rescue. |
